JOSH WESTBROOK- GUITAR

Born into a musical family, Joshua has been around music since he can remember. After a short stint with the drums, at the age 11 he decided that guitar would be his main weapon of choice. Early influences like Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, and Led Zeppelin, ignited a passion for the classic Rock & Roll sound in his playing. However, after hearing the virtuosity of jazz greats like Wes Montgomery, and George Benson, Josh took his musical journey in a new direction. As a freshman in high school he performed at Cains Ballroom, where he experienced the thrill . Now you can catch him as a sideman along side some of Tulsa’s most talented performers, or wherever people are willing to listen. “Whether it’s Funk, Jazz, Soul or R&B… It isn't music if it can’t be felt”
